Position Details:
Location: Steinbach, MB
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour
Term: 1 month
Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Respond to a high volume of phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
- Process Parking Permit transactions, ensuring accuracy and verifying medical information.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Handle inbound and outbound mail.
- Record transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a well-organized and welcoming office area.
- Communicate consistently in a respectful, responsive, and responsible manner.
- Respect and value the diversity of communities and individuals.
- Regularly prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Office Administration is an asset.
- Experience working in customer service, including direct interaction with diverse clients.
- Strong customer service skills: polite, considerate, patient, calm under pressure, empathetic, friendly, and solution-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- General knowledge and experience working with persons with disabilities.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and accessible customer service practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating initiative and cooperation.
