Temporary-Shipping & Receiving/

Position: Shipping & Receiving
Location: Laird Road, Mississauga
Pay Rate: $22–$24/hour
Contract Duration: 1–2 months
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

Including but not limited to:

• Load, unload, sort, and move shipments manually or with material handling equipment

• Inspect shipment contents and verify accuracy against records

• Open crates/boxes, inspect contents, and receive items into ERP system

• Package, seal, and label items for outgoing shipments

• Schedule deliveries via crate and courier services using online systems

• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve supplier or customer inquiries

• Maintain accurate records of shipping and invoicing in internal systems

• Keep the warehouse clean and follow housekeeping standards

• Must be able to lift 35–50 lbs

• Must be organized and detail-oriented

• Proficient with Windows-based operating systems

Preferred Certification:

• Forklift license (optional)

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Can work independently and solve basic problems

• Comfortable using basic tools (drills, hammers, box cutters, etc.)

• Familiar with ERP and CRM systems (M3 experience is a plus)

• Mechanical aptitude is an asset

Work Environment:

• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts

• Moderate noise levels

• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn in certain facility areas
