You will play a crucial role in cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients, contributing to our continued success and growth. Position Overview In this position, you will be tasked with identifying and securing a wide variety of assets, particularly heavy machinery and vehicles, for upcoming auctions. You'll manage key accounts and generate new business opportunities through a combination of strategies such as cold calling, networking, direct outreach, and leveraging advertising campaigns. Your role will also include: - Building long-term partnerships with clients across industries such as construction, oil and gas, transportation, mining, and government sectors. - Managing a portfolio of accounts using CRM tools and a goal-oriented approach. - Develop strategies to grow your territory and secure consignments for auction events. - Conducting market research to identify and convert prospects into long-term customers. - Representing the company at industry events and auctions. You are proactive in identifying business opportunities, possess strong negotiation skills, and have a knack for building lasting relationships. Your background should demonstrate: - A proven track record in generating sales, particularly in sectors involving construction equipment, heavy machinery, or commercial vehicles. - Strong networking abilities and the drive to seek out new business opportunities. - An independent and entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with excellent communication and rapport-building skills. - Proficiency with technology and CRM platforms to manage client relationships effectively. Key Qualifications A valid driver’s license a must - Proven success in equipment sales (e.g., excavators, loaders, cranes, trucks, etc.) - Expertise in lead generation and consultative sales techniques - Strong communication and presentation skills |
