Ticketing and Customer Care Specialist

We are hiring for Ticketing and Customer Care Specialist. This is a full time Permanent job. 

Location: Thornhill, ON
Salary: $45,000-$50,000+ benefits +parking 

Duties:

Handling client's inbound calls who are looking to book flights and travel products
Plan itineraries; send travel quotes, suggest products to suit clients’ needs, and arrange
accommodations, airlines, and other travel products like insurance and car to go with flights.
Listen to clients’ requirements closely and provide product solutions.
Always be up to date with supplier and airline policies with the current everyday new policy
change environment.
Advise clients about passports, visas, travel insurance, upsells for higher fare family,
baggage fares, basic fares, premium, business, and first cabin, fare rules.

Qualifications & Required Experience:
Minimum 5-year Travel Consultant sales experience
Fluent in French/English is considered an asset* (Written and spoken)
TICO (Ontario)/OPC (Montreal)
Excellent customer service skills, especially phone etiquette
Strong domestic, trans-border, and international travel knowledge
Past experience from consolidator or call center an asset*
GDS Amadeus and Sabre expertise in handling airline contracted fares, rules, NET, IT Fares
and ticket exchange, schedule change a must.
The candidate must possess strong consultative selling skills and the ability to listen to the
customer’s needs
Must be TICO certified and able to sell travel insurance in Ontario.
Having a license to sell travel insurance in other Canadian provinces is an asset.
Able to handle escalation and resolve customer concerns and complaint.

Working Conditions:

Full-time permanent position
Work from Head office in Thornhill, Ontario.
Mandatory Evening shift 4 pm to midnight EST with occasional rotating schedule including
weekends and statutory holidays
