Traffic Control People (TCP's)/Flaggers - Kamloops, BC

Staffmax is looking for TCP's/Flaggers to join us in Kamloops! Flaggers are responsible for directing traffic and ensuring safety on the roads. They signal vehicles when to slow down, stop, and when it's safe to proceed. The client provides all required training and tickets to get you started!

Please note that this is a safety sensitive position with a zero-tolerance policy for use of marijuana, medical and recreational.

Wage: Up to $25/hour!

Employment Status: Full time permanent positions and seasonal, schedules are job specific. Days, evenings, weekend shifts. Hours and overtime available! This position is eligible for Health and Dental benefits as well as a Health Spending Account.

Qualifications

• Your own vehicle to get to and from work is an asset.
• As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test. Note: All safety-sensitive positions have a zero-tolerance policy marijuana, medical or recreational.
• Ability to lift between 50 and 75 pounds.
• A valid BCCSA TCP Ticket is an asset, however ATS covers the cost and provides ALL training and tickets to get you started!
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day - we will provide the rest.
