Facility Requirements:
  • **MA-C REQUIRED** , MA-C = Medical Assistant-Certification
  • 2 years prior GI/Endo experience 100% required.
  • BLS
  • Epic EMR
  • GI patients, working in outpatient center with low acuity outpatients getting EGD’s and colonoscopies. We typically utilize travelers/agency staff in Preop and recovery. We only recover Phase 2 patients (non-intubated patients). We use propofol per anesthesia for most cases, on occasion there is one physician who does conscious sedation (Midazolam and fentanyl).
  • Level 3 Trauma Hospital
