The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and restoring a diverse fleet of equipment through hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and routine servicing. Your expertise will directly impact reliability, safety, and performance.

Who You Are

Please note, this role is located in THUNDER BAY and will require relocation

• Licensed Red Seal Technician 310J, 310T, or active apprentice
• Minimum two years of practical mechanical experience
• Equipped with your own essential hand tools
• Comfortable working with advanced diagnostic technology
• Strong troubleshooting ability across electrical, brake, tire, and structural systems
• Dependable, organized, and capable of working independently or within a team
• Motivated to continuously improve your technical skills

What You’ll Tackle

• Perform full-service inspections and scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern scan tools and diagnostic systems
• Repair brake systems, tires, electrical components, interiors, structural elements, and more
• Complete fabrication and welding repairs as needed
• Conduct formal safety checks to ensure equipment meets regulatory standards
• Determine when components should be repaired internally or outsourced to specialty vendors
• Accurately document findings, repairs, and equipment condition
• Collaborate with operations and fellow technicians to manage workflow and repair priorities
