Job Overview

Staffmax is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join the team of a well-established Canadian distribution and service company. With more than 50 years of experience and locations across Canada, our client is a trusted supplier of packaging, shipping, adhesive, safety, warehouse, and janitorial products.

The Warehouse Associate will support daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, receiving, shipping, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, long-term employment with an established organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
• Pack and label products for shipment
• Load and unload materials and products
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Perform inventory counts and assist with stock control
• Ensure products are handled and stored safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
• Perform other general warehouse duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or distribution experience is an asset
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to read English, including alphanumeric information
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Forklift experience/certification is an asset
• Steel-toe footwear is required

Schedule & Compensation

• $18.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch
• Full-time hours
• Tuesday or Wednesday start dates are available

Transportation

The work location has limited public transit access, so having reliable personal transportation is beneficial.
