Staffmax is currently hiring a Warehouse Associate on behalf of our client in Quebec City, QC.

Position Details
- Position: Warehouse Associate
- Location: Godin Ave., Quebec City, QC
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Salary: $40,000–$50,000 annually (based on experience)
- Schedule: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
- Start Time: As early as 5:30 AM
- Availability: Must be flexible to work Saturdays as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, store, and dispatch inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, stage, and prepare appliances and large products for delivery.
- Load and unload shipments while ensuring products are handled safely and securely.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verify incoming shipments and report any damaged or missing products.
- Operate pallet jacks, stackers, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Secure appliances and oversized products using straps, dollies, blankets, and protective materials.
- Assist with truck loading, inspections, and vehicle readiness.
- Support drivers by responding to operational inquiries and resolving warehouse-related issues.
- Assist with shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), Proof of Delivery (POD), and freight claims.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, hazardous material handling procedures, and company standards.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse or related experience.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is an asset.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, stackers, or similar material handling equipment.
- Understanding of appliance handling and warehouse safety procedures.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work extended hours and weekends when required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy appliances and large products.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs throughout the shift.
- Able to perform physically demanding work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
